By accessing or using OriEast's services, website, or mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
OriEast provides medical tourism consultation and escort services, including:
- Medical appointment coordination with partner hospitals
- Medical interpretation and translation services
- Patient escort and accompaniment services
- Visa guidance and travel advice
Important: OriEast is a medical tourism facilitator, not a healthcare provider. We coordinate services but do not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or medical advice.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal and medical information
- Disclose all relevant medical history and current conditions
- Obtain necessary travel documents (passport, visa) in a timely manner
- Follow pre-treatment instructions provided by healthcare providers
- Maintain appropriate travel and medical insurance
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4. Medical Treatment Disclaimer
All medical treatments are provided by independent healthcare providers. OriEast does not control, supervise, or guarantee the quality, safety, or outcomes of any medical procedures. Treatment decisions are made solely between you and your healthcare provider.
5. Booking and Payment
Service Fees
- OriEast charges service fees for consultation and escort services
- A deposit may be required to confirm hospital appointments
- Service fees are separate from hospital medical fees, which are paid directly to healthcare providers
- Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
Price Changes
Quoted prices are valid for 30 days. Hospital fees and exchange rates may fluctuate. We will notify you of any significant price changes before confirming your booking.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of OriEast service fees:
- 30+ days before service date: Full refund minus processing fees
- 15-29 days before service date: 50% refund
- 7-14 days before service date: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund
Note: Hospital appointment deposits and medical fees paid directly to healthcare providers are subject to each hospital's own cancellation policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
OriEast shall not be liable for:
- Medical outcomes, complications, or side effects
- Actions or omissions of healthcare providers
- Travel delays, cancellations, or disruptions
- Loss of personal belongings
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest)
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
8. Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers international medical treatment, medical evacuation, and trip cancellation before traveling to China.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of OriEast and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Shanghai, China.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
