Originally established as the Shanghai Second Light Industry Bureau Workers' Hospital in 1976, the hospital underwent transformation in 1999 to become a private comprehensive medical institution. In 2004, it became Shanghai's first hospital with occupational disease examination qualifications. The hospital has received the 'Excellent Unit' award from Shanghai Health Examination Quality Control for four consecutive evaluations (2014-2016, 2018) and has established partnerships with numerous top-tier hospitals including Huashan Hospital, Zhongshan Hospital, and Ruijin Hospital.
